The best part of the Association of Commerce and Industry?

Its members, businesses who realize that through ACI they can accomplish collectively what none of them can do individually. Currently, diverse member businesses, large and small, influence ACI programs and work together to enhance the economic climate of the New Mexico area for business growth and quality of life.

Lobbying: Representation of your business and industry's interests at the Legislature and with regulatory agencies.

Board Meetings: Meetings are held three times a year and are open to all members.

Advocate for New Mexico Business Interests: ACI members have the opportunity to participate in the development of legislative agendas through policy committees, roundtables and briefings held throughout the state.

Opportunities for networking: No other association has such a diverse, statewide membership. You have the opportunity to meet and interact with business leaders from all sectors of our state and our economy.  Receive special invitations to members-only and other networking and educational events.

Updates on policy news and developments: During the legislative session, you can view daily updates on ACI’s weblog, participate in weekly legislative conference calls with the president, and receive call to action notices when your voice needs to be heard regarding bills that are important to business. You will also receive the Business Voice throughout the year with policy issues as well as member alerts regarding special guest speakers and educational opportunities. Issue Roundtables, town-hall meetings, are held to discuss issues that concern businesses in the area as well as informing businesses about the most recent legislative session.

Accountability for the Legislative, Executive, and Judicial Branch: Our annual New Mexico Focus Annual Legislative Report grades all three branches of our state government and provides you with detailed scores on how our legislators, our Governor, and our judges perform on important business legislation and cases.
